Take structured notes from a YouTube video
A 40-minute talk has maybe six ideas in it. Dassi reads the transcript and gives you the six, with the timestamp to jump back to each.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”New to Dassi? Follow the installation guide and model setup guide.
Open the video on YouTube in Chrome and check that a transcript is available (… → Show transcript under the video). Open Dassi alongside it.
1. Outline the video
Section titled “1. Outline the video”Open this video's transcript and structure it into sections. For each section give the timestamp where it starts (mm:ss), a title, and 2–4 bullet points. Include one short direct quote per section.Use only what is said in the transcript; don't add background information.2. Pull out what to do
Section titled “2. Pull out what to do”From those notes, list any concrete recommendations or action items the speaker gives, each with its timestamp. Then give me the whole thing as Markdown I can paste into my notes.Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”Click two of the timestamps and confirm the video jumps to the topic named. Auto-generated transcripts misspell names and products, so check any proper nouns before you share the notes. If there is no transcript, Dassi cannot read the audio — it will tell you rather than guess.
